In a far future where Mankind is a space-faring civilization, a group of ships performs a routine Systems Jump, where they use a Jump Gate to move from one Solar System to another almost instantaneously. As they arrive at their destination, they find it empty and desolate, all communications and information networks down. This is unusual for one of the galaxy's busiest trading hubs. Cut off and isolate, the fleet has to band together in order to survive and uncover the truth about the strange calamity that has befallen them.
